I like to keep things interesting.

(Preface: I have a history of violently refusing any non-traditional activities on Christmas, particularly things involving warm weather, palm trees, being gone on Christmas, moving Christmas decorations from their normal spot to a new spot, etc.)

Conversation with Scott about going on a Christmas cruise:

Scott: Lex checked into it and it looks like we'd have to leave on Christmas Eve......How do you feel about spending Christmas on a boat?

Mackenzie (said with some "give me some credit, geez" overtones): Scott, I have matured some in my adulthood. The idea doesn't bother me now as much as it used to.

Scott: .....So things have changed since last year?

Apparently this is a more recent development than I remembered.
